TEH TARIK
This is a group project that will be focusing on designing and building detailed planning at the provided site. The aim is to propose an interior utilization concept for a 3 storey building located at 491&493, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Chow Kit, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
Clothing industry in Malaysia is getting more trendy and up way from the international standard, but somehow it lacking icon and element that could represent Malaysia culture. Tarik clothing intends to create a better concept design platform which could represent Malaysia culture through their product.
(a) Provide fully serviced facilities and café for all visitors and customers.
(b) To promote and popularize Malaysia’s clothing and production industry.
(c) To work and cooperate as connection with international clothing industry.
The project area is taken by which located at the 491 and 493 lot, 3 storey building, which including production services and post-production facilities, which also providing food and beverage services areas.
TEH TARIK retail and merchandise has been transformed with contrast design element with combination of the layering concept to create contrastation to the atmosphere on the partitions to take the visitor through a journey of the designed space. At 2th floor, the partition that provide semi-enclosed and connecting to the printing workshop area. The stairs allows direct link to the level 3 café , creating more convenience for the user. Café and merchandise are located in the 3th floor, it offers choice of privileges' that allows visitors to have a cup of tea and meal there. The retail features artistic interior with a layer of lines and combining the concept in the ceiling structure design, as a connection floor by floor to different level for the visitors.

TEH TARIK Clothing has been transformed and be designed with sprial layering ceiling structure from ground floor to second floor. At the ground floor , the lobby was greeted and designed with solid form shape , semi - enclosed for every ceiling structure that connecting with every floor in Tarik clothing store. The stairs case allow direct link to the workshop and café, creating more convenience for every customers and users.
On the 1st floor , printing and handcraft work stations and workshop are finely provided and arranged to fulfil the requirement for customer customizing products. The handcraft work stations are located in the middle of the space which makes more convenience for the customers. Two waiting area and sitting area are also available on the first floor for customers, staff room and storage are also located on that floor to accommodate and suits in the basic necessities of workers.
Café and merchandise are located on the 2nd floor, it offer to customer would have a meals or drinks. The café artistic features create a old classical atmosphere for visitors and customers.
